Robert is an Associate on the equity investment team. He contributes to Claritas’ investment activities and portfolio companies through deal sourcing, transaction analysis, industry research, diligence efforts, financial modeling, and general board support. His work focuses on early- and growth-stage investments across healthcare, technology, and defense technology.
Prior to joining Claritas Capital, Robert proudly served for 10 years on active duty as a Special Tactics Officer in the U.S. Air Force. Throughout his military career, he commanded Special Tactics Teams ranging from 20 to 60 personnel across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Throughout his military career, he commanded Special Tactics Teams ranging from 20 to 60 personnel deploying a cumulative total of 14 months to Afghanistan, West Africa and other combat locations.
Robert continues his military service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a Team Leader with the 306th Rescue Squadron at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The squadron is part of the Air Force’s Guardian Angel personnel-recovery force, which deploys to locate, recover, and provide lifesaving care to isolated personnel in combat and other austere environments.
Robert graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2016 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a specialization in Cyber Warfare, where he competed as an NCAA Division I swimmer. He is currently pursuing an Executive M.B.A. at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is an avid swimmer, cyclist, and a lover of the outdoors.
